EMDR & Brainspotting Intensives
Accelerate Your Healing
Traditional therapy sessions are typically 45–60 minutes long, which can sometimes make it difficult to fully process complex or longstanding trauma. EMDR and Brainspotting Intensives provide extended, focused time dedicated to healing, allowing you to work through difficult experiences with greater depth and continuity.
What Are Intensives?
Intensives are extended therapy sessions designed to help clients make meaningful progress in a shorter period of time.
Available Options:
- 3-Hour Intensive
- 6-Hour Intensive
Intensives are $200 per hour
During these sessions, we will use EMDR, or Brainspotting, and grounding techniques to support your nervous system regulation skills and help you safely process distressing memories, emotions, and experiences.
Benefits of EMDR & Brainspotting Intensives
- More uninterrupted time for processing trauma
- Faster progress compared to weekly therapy sessions alone
- Less time spent reorienting at the beginning of each session
- Opportunity to work through multiple aspects of a traumatic experience
- Increased focus and momentum in the healing process
- Enhanced emotional regulation through grounding and mindfulness techniques
- Ideal for individuals with chronic trauma, PTSD, childhood trauma, anxiety, or significant life events
Who May Benefit?
Intensives may be helpful for individuals experiencing:
- Chronic or complex trauma
- PTSD symptoms
- Anxiety and panic symptoms
- Grief and loss
- Relationship trauma
- Childhood wounds
- Life transitions
- Stress related to work, caregiving, or major life events
What to Expect
Throughout the intensive, your comfort and safety are prioritized. We will take breaks as needed, use grounding exercises, mindfulness practices, and nervous system regulation techniques to help you remain present and supported throughout the process.
Many clients appreciate having dedicated time to focus entirely on their healing without waiting weeks between sessions. The extended format often allows for deeper work and greater therapeutic momentum.
Important Information
EMDR and Brainspotting Intensives are private-pay services and are not covered by insurance plans. Payment is due at the time of service.
Why Consider an Intensive?
You may want to consider an intensive if:
- You feel "stuck" in therapy.
- You want to make progress more quickly.
- You have a specific traumatic memory or issue you want to address.
- Your schedule makes weekly therapy difficult.
- You are motivated to dedicate focused time to your healing.
- You are seeking deeper work than can typically be accomplished in a standard therapy session.
Healing does not have to take years. A focused intensive can provide the time, space, and support needed to move toward lasting change and emotional freedom.
